ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s digital banking platform Zindigi launched the country’s first fintech credit card on Thursday, marking a milestone in the nation’s digital financial evolution.
Zindigi by JS Bank is a digital banking and financial services platform in Pakistan, designed to let users manage all banking and financial tasks from their phones.
Customers can apply for the newly introduced credit card through the digital app and access credit in minutes, with no branch visits or paperwork.
“We set out to rethink credit for today’s digital users,” the statement quoted Chief Officer Zindigi Noman Azhar as saying. “Our goal is simple, to make access to credit as seamless as using any modern app.”
The statement highlighted that Zindigi aims to bridge the gap between Pakistan’s rapidly growing digital payments ecosystem and the low credit card penetration, offering a fast, seamless and fully digital credit experience.
The card supports all transaction types including POS, online, ATM, and international while giving users full app control for activation, PIN management, spending limits, card blocking and real-time tracking.
The statement said the Zindigi credit card offers convenience and accessibility, along with lifestyle perks such as discounts on dining, travel, shopping and entertainment.

Driven by a young, tech-savvy population and growing smartphone use, these platforms have been expanding financial access for greater inclusiveness.
Regulations and telecom partnerships have also boosted fintech growth while creating new opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs across Pakistan.
