PARIS, France: France’s president called on Thursday for a moratorium on strikes against civilian infrastructure after speaking with President Donald Trump and the Qatari leader about attacks that hit energy sites in Iran and Qatar.
“I just spoke with the Emir of Qatar and President Trump following the strikes that hit today gas production sites in Iran and Qatar,” President Emmanuel Macron posted on X.
“It is in the common interest to implement without delay a moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, particularly energy and water infrastructure,” he added.
