BRUSSLES: Mukhled Al-Otaibi, charge d’affaires at the Saudi Embassy in Belgium, took part in a meeting between Gulf Cooperation Council ambassadors and European officials.

The participants exchanged views on regional developments, the Saudi Embassy in Belgium said in a post on X on Tuesday.

“First and foremost, we came to listen,” Prevot wrote. “These countries have endured devastating Iranian missile attacks on their soil. We expressed our full solidarity.”

Bettel said the discussions also covered cooperation on repatriation efforts.
