MAYSAN: Abal Valley, situated in Haddad Bani Malik in Maysan governorate, south of Taif, is renowned for its preserved landscape and ecological diversity and attracts visitors seeking quiet surroundings with scenic mountain views.
There are mountain ranges to both sides, with rock formations and varying terrain, while water flows seasonally along the slopes toward Al-Saddayn, Sayyadah, Rakhamat and Bawa valleys, forming a natural watercourse.

Among the most prominent are wild olive (Al-Atam) and juniper trees, along with other mountain vegetation adapted to the local climate and soil conditions.
During rainy periods, Al-Harithi added, water flows through the valley, supporting plant growth and contributing to the area’s natural cycle. He said Abal Valley was also popular with off-road enthusiasts and photographers.
Visitors can explore the area on foot or by vehicle, making it a popular destination for outdoor activities within Maysan’s mountainous landscape.
