DAMASCUS: Syrian Health Minister Dr. Musab Nazzal Al-Ali praised Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian support for Syria’s health sector under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
His remarks came after the ministry received critical medical supplies from Saudi aid agency KSrelief, to support kidney dialysis and thalassemia patients across Syrian governorates, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Al-Ali said the medications provided are sufficient to meet the needs of thalassemia patients for an entire year, significantly easing their suffering.
He expressed deep gratitude for KSrelief’s humanitarian efforts and its role in strengthening the capabilities of local medical personnel, adding that the support reflects the strong ties of cooperation and solidarity between the two countries, the SPA said.
