Saudi Arabia signs cooperation protocol with Egypt’s boxing federation

  • The protocol forms part of the Saudi federation’s efforts “to strengthen the sport’s regional and international presence, expand strategic partnerships and support the development of a new generation of boxers”

CAIRO: The Saudi Boxing Federation signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Boxing Federation in Cairo on Friday, in the presence of Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and president of the Saudi Boxing Federation.

It was also represented by board member Faisal bin Saeed Bafrat, while the Egyptian federation was represented by its president, Magdy El-Lozy.

Under the agreement, the two sides will organize joint training camps, stage friendly tournaments and exchange technical and administrative expertise, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The protocol forms part of the Saudi federation’s efforts “to strengthen the sport’s regional and international presence, expand strategic partnerships and support the development of a new generation of boxers.”
