RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadli has chaired the Saudi Irrigation Organization’s 29th meeting of its board of directors, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The board examined the organization’s 2025 periodic performance assessment — encompassing performance metrics, completion rates, and advancement of active projects throughout the Kingdom’s territories — alongside developments in programs and ventures targeting enhanced water resource utilization efficiency and promotion of agricultural sustainability.

Members assessed prominent developmental undertakings and operational blueprints concerning irrigation sector infrastructure advancement and improvement in operational effectiveness, supporting the objectives of Vision 2030.

Proceedings concluded with the adoption of multiple resolutions and guidance focused on elevating institutional operational standards, fortifying collaborative arrangements with associated agencies, and securing optimal resource deployment.
