Creative career event empowers talent in Jeddah

JEDDAH: Art Jameel in Jeddah recently concluded its inaugural Creative Careers Days — a three-day interactive program “designed to accelerate professional growth within the Kingdom’s creative sectors,” the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.

The event featured workshops on topics including photography, design, and digital content, as well as strategic sessions on business management, pricing, and the impact of AI on artistic practices.

By offering portfolio reviews and expert mentoring in legal and marketing frameworks, the gathering “effectively bridged the gap between raw talent and market demand,” the SPA stated, adding that the initative “reinforces Jeddah’s status as a vital cultural hub and supports an integrated ecosystem in which national talent can translate creative skills into sustainable, long-term careers.”

RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with US senator Lindsey Graham in Riyadh on Friday, state news agency SPA reported.

The two discussed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States and regional developments.

Also at the meeting was Saudi foreign minister Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of defense Khaled Al Saud and Member of the Council of Ministers Musaad Al Aiban.

Earlier, Graham had said the Saudi crown prince believed in the need to reach a dignified solution for the Palestinian people.

“Saudi Arabia is key to what I hope will happen in the region and the world,” Graham added.

“The Saudi Crown Prince’s vision will shape the region for generations to come, and is great for the civilized world,” said Graham.
