INNOPROM. Saudi Arabia' to boost industrial and trade cooperation between KSA and Russia

From Feb. 8 to 10, Riyadh will host the “INNOPROM. Saudi Arabia” international industrial trade fair at The Arena Venue.

INNOPROM is the main industrial trade fair in Russia, which has been held annually for more than 15 years in Ekaterinburg, the country’s industrial center. In 2025, Saudi Arabia participated as the partner country, presenting an exhibition area of 1,512 square meters. The Kingdom’s delegation was led by Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef.

Saudi Arabia’s success and effectiveness in participating at INNOPROM were noted by both Saudi and Russian sides. According to Waleed S. Al-Rubaie, head of the Saudi Ministry of Investment’s Department of Petrochemicals and Conversion Industries, the Kingdom “needs many Russian companies to establish and launch production in Saudi Arabia and across the entire Middle East and North Africa.”

Given the strong interest from the Russian and Saudi business communities, INNOPROM will be held in Riyadh for the first time this year. The exhibition is supported by the Saudi Ministry of Investment and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, becoming a platform for developing current and new strategic partnerships and projects.

Russian companies will showcase products and innovations in the following areas: machine building and component manufacturing, metallurgy and new materials, digital solutions, transport and energy technologies, metropolitan solutions, healthcare technologies and others.

INNOPROM’s exhibition space will amount to 6,000 square meters in total, and more than 200 Russian companies are expected to take part as exhibitors and delegates. The biggest participants include Rostec, Rosatom, Roscosmos, Transneft, Callisto Vision, the Center for the Development of Perspective Technologies, Natsproektstroy, the exposition by “Made in Russia” manufacturing companies, as well as regional booths of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Chelyabinsk and Samara Regions, and others.

On the Saudi side, a number of industrial companies will take part in the exhibition, along with authorities and investment agencies, including the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Invest Saudi, MODON, and others.

More than 10 panel discussions and B2B sessions will be held as part of the business program, including the flagship plenary session “Investing in the Future: Innovation and Industrial Cooperation.” It will be attended by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, as well as heads of major industrial companies and investment agencies.

The “Made in Russia + INNOPROM” business mission was held in Riyadh in 2023, bringing more than 100 Russian companies together at one venue.
