RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held telephone calls with his counterparts from Qatar, Oman, and France on Thursday, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Developments in the region and efforts being made to achieve security and stability in it were discussed in separate phone calls with Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot.
Later on Thursday, Prince Faisal held a joint telephone call with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas and Cyprus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Constantinos Kombos.
They discussed regional and international developments and efforts made with regard to them, the foreign ministry said.
