BANGKOK: The office of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth has honored outstanding orphans at an event attended by several officials, heads of associations, as well as students, graduates, and families of orphans.
During the ceremony, speakers highlighted the growing humanitarian and pioneering role played by the Kingdom in supporting Islamic, humanitarian, and developmental initiatives, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
They emphasized that the mission of the Saudi-based organization has become a leading model in orphan care, youth empowerment, and outreach to diverse segments of society — efforts that directly contribute to strengthening social cohesion and stability.
Attendees expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Saudi government for its continued support of development and education initiatives in the Islamic world. They noted that these efforts have had a tangible and positive effect on beneficiaries and played a significant role in fostering bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation among communities.
