RIYADH: Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi received Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Riyadh on Sunday.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the GCC and China under the Joint Action Plan for 2023–2027, the General Secretariat said.
Wang praised the efforts of the GCC General Secretariat to strengthen the partnership between the two sides in ways that serve shared interests.
Al-Budaiwi expressed appreciation for China’s role in supporting security and stability in the region.
