Saudi Arabia condemns terrorist attack on Jewish festival on Australia’s Bondi Beach

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia on Sunday condemned a terrorist attack on a gathering at Sydney’s Bondi Beach for the Jewish festival of Hanukkah.

Two gunmen shot and killed 11 people and wounded many others in the attack on Sunday.

One of the alleged shooters was killed, and the second was in a critical condition.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said: “The Kingdom affirms its stance against all forms of violence, terrorism, and extremism, expressing its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Australia. It wishes the injured a speedy recovery.”
