Dances and music form the heart of Indonesian performance arts, showing the storytelling traditions and cultural heritage that reflect the country’s wide diversity and rich history.
The audience was charmed by the mesmerizing rhythms and movements of Indonesian performers, demonstrating how music and dance transcend cultural barriers and bring communities together through universal artistic expression.
The ministry invited members of the Indonesian community and residents of all nationalities to visit the event site and enjoy its diverse programs, noting that the initiative promotes cultural exchange, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
With this being the last day of showing Indonesian cultures and lifestyle, the vendors and participants prepare to hand over to the Philippines on Dec. 5.
The Ministry of Media’s Global Harmony initiative this year aims to celebrate 14 world cultures, each representing a different community in the Kingdom.
So far, more than 2 million visitors have participated and immersed themselves in the cultural initiative, with only four exhibitions remaining in the Global Harmony 2 program.
After the Indonesian culture days is the Philippines (Dec. 5-8); Uganda (Dec. 9-10); Ethiopia (Dec. 11-13) and Sudan (Dec. 14-20).
Officials hope to shed light on the lives of expatriates living in Saudi Arabia, celebrating their social and recreational activities, their contributions to the Kingdom's economy, and their personal success stories.
