RIYADH: Cristiano Ronaldo gave another demonstration of his enduring quality by scoring with a spectacular bicycle kick for Al-Nassr in their 4-1 win over Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday night.
The 40-year-old Portugal superstar met a cross from the right wing with an acrobatic volley that was too fierce for Khaleej goalkeeper Anthony Morris to keep out, crowning a win that sees Al-Nassr maintain their perfect league record this season.
Al-Nassr's other goals came from Joao Felix, Wesley and Sadio Mane, while Murad Al-Hawsawi scored for Al-Khaleej. Aftre nine round of matches, Al-Nassr now lead the SPL table with a maximum of 27 points, four ahead of Riyadh rivals Al-Hilal.
Ronaldo has just returned from international duty with Portugal, during which he was sent off against Ireland but celebrated his country qualifying for the World Cup. If he goes, it will be a record sixth appearance in the World Cup.
