RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan in Riyadh on Monday to discuss the latest developments in Sudan and efforts to restore security and stability in the country, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The meeting took place at Al-Yamamah Palace, where Prince Mohammed held talks with the chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, and his accompanying delegation.

During the talks, the two sides reviewed the situation in Sudan, its regional implications and ongoing efforts aimed at achieving security and stability amid the country’s continuing crisis, SPA added.

The meeting was also attended by Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of State and National Security Advisor Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan, and Saudi ambassador to Sudan Ali Hassan Jaafar.
