Saudi expenditure authority discusses cooperation with government entities in Singapore

  • The delegation visited the Port of Singapore and explored the Innovation Center and the Marina Barrage, learning about the work of Singapore’s National Water Agency.

SINGAPORE: The Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority discussed enhancing cooperation with government bodies in Singapore during a delegation’s visit to the country headed by Abdulrazzaq Al-Aujan, the authority’s CEO.

The visit included a meeting with Singapore’s National Environment Agency, which has achieved an advanced level of quality in government spending efficiency by leveraging artificial intelligence in several areas, including water loss, carbon emission reduction and waste recycling.

The delegation also visited the Port of Singapore and explored the Innovation Center and the Marina Barrage, learning about the work of Singapore’s National Water Agency.

Saudi Arabia acknowledges ‘effective cooperation’ after Lebanese authorities seize narco lab

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia highlighted the productive cooperation between the Kingdom and Lebanon after the seizure of a drugs facility. 

The Saudi interior ministry said the lab was being used to manufacture narcotic substances and  precursor materials, in addition to firearms. 

The ministry statement, posted on social media early on Thursday, said the Kingdom acknowledges the effective cooperation with the Lebanese authorities in monitoring and controlling narcotic substances. 

The Kingdom reaffirmed its commitment to continuing efforts to combat criminal activities that threaten its security and youth through drugs, by confronting, thwarting, and apprehending those involved, the statement added.
