Who’s Who: Dr. Adel Ezzat, CEO of Elaf Group

Dr. Adel Ezzat is the CEO of Elaf Group. Since taking up the role, he has guided the organization’s operations and strategic initiatives.

His extensive experience has been instrumental in contributing to Saudi Vision 2030’s goals for economic diversification, expanding the hospitality sector, and growth in travel and tourism.

Under his leadership, Elaf Group, which operates nine hotels and manages 3,377 rooms, has recorded booking more than 1 million room nights annually.

Before his tenure with Elaf Group, Ezzat held various senior positions across different industries.

He served as the president and chairman of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, a role in which he demonstrated his leadership and commitment to enhancing the sports sector.

His professional journey includes high-level roles such as CEO of Saudi Paper Group; managing director of Hyundai and Genesis at Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Hyundai; and managing director of Toyota at Abdul Latif Jameel Group.

These positions allowed him to showcase his expertise in operations, marketing management and organizational growth.

Ezzat’s early career was marked by a nine-year tenure at Procter and Gamble, where he refined his skills in operations management, human resources, supply chain management and marketing.

He holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Paris, a master’s degree in business administration from Manchester University, and a master’s degree in marketing from Nottingham Trent University. Additionally, he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from King Abdulaziz University.

Since its inception, the Kingdom has provided more than $142 billion in humanitarian, development, and charitable assistance and implemented 8,457 projects in 173 countries worldwide.
 The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center was established in 2015, with the aim to boost transparency, impartiality, and professionalism. 
Its work extends beyond the provision of emergency assistance to include empowering affected communities and enhancing their capacity to recover from crises, reflecting the Kingdom’s enduring commitment to sustainable humanitarian impact.
