RIYADH: The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Iran discussed developments in the Gaza Strip on Sunday during a telephone call, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his newly appointed counterpart Abbas Araghchi also discussed relations between their countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.

They also highlighted the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the Kingdom and Iran.

LONDON: Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed on Monday ways to strengthen cooperative relations with the Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Robert Kalinak.

The meeting at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh focused on common interests and discussed the latest regional and international developments, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The two sides signed a general cooperation agreement to enhance partnership and mutual understanding across various fields.

Saudi Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Saud Al-Sati and Director General of the European Department, ambassador Abdulrahman Al-Ahmad, attended the meeting.

On Monday, Prince Faisal met with his Panamanian counterpart, Javier Martinez-Acha, and the Minister of Trade and Industry, Julio Molto.

They discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and addressed recent international developments of mutual interest, according to SPA.
