ISLAMABAD: Tickets for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9th edition will go on sale February 6, the Pakistan Cricket Board said on Sunday.
Fans would be able to pre-book their tickets online on pcb.tcs.com.pk from 1700 Pakistan time onwards, however, physical tickets have been made mandatory for all PSL-9 matches, according to the PCB.
“E-tickets (self-printed or digital copies) will not be accepted for entry across the four venues throughout the tournament,” the PCB said in a statement.
“Physical tickets will go on sale at designated TCS express centers from 12 February 2024 onwards.”
Tickets booked online could also be collected from TCS designated pick-up centers or can be home-delivered, according to the statement.
The opening ceremony and first match of PSL-9 is scheduled to take place at the Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore on February 17.
The tickets have been set at PKR 6,000 (VIP), PKR 3,000 (Premium), PKR 2,000 (First class) and PKR 1,000 (General).
The tickets for the qualifier will be sold for PKR 5,000 (VIP), PKR 2,500 (Premium), PKR 1500 (First class) and PKR 750 (General), while tickets for the two eliminators have been priced at PKR 5,000 (VIP), PKR 3,000 (Premium), PKR 1500 (First class) and PKR 750 (General).
The tickets for the final, which will be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on 18 March, have been set at PKR 8,000 (VIP), PKR 4,000 (Premium), PKR 2,500 (First class) and PKR 1,000 (General).
Over the course of PSL 9, Karachi will host 11 matches, including the final leg of the tournament. Rawalpindi and Lahore will host nine matches each, while Multan will host five matches.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Vienna on Sunday for a two-day visit to review bilateral ties, his office said in a statement, marking the first official visit by a Pakistani premier to the country in over three decades.
Pakistan’s foreign ministry spokesperson said that Sharif is undertaking the visit at Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker’s invitation. Sharif will lead a high-level delegation comprising the deputy premier and information minister from the Feb. 15-16 visit.
The foreign office said Sharif’s visit marks 70 years since diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Austria were established.
“This visit by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Vienna marks the first visit by a Pakistani Prime Minister to Austria in over three decades, the last having been undertaken by the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 1992,” the statement said.
Sharif will hold bilateral talks with his Austrian counterpart, during which the two leaders will take stock of the entire gamut of bilateral relations.
“The prime minister will also chair a meeting of the Pakistan–Austria Business Forum, which is being organized by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO),” the foreign office said. “He will also visit multilateral organizations.”
According to Pakistan’s foreign ministry, Islamabad and Vienna enjoy cooperation in the domains of trade, economy, culture and education.
It said Sharif’s visit to Vienna will establish new dimensions to the Pakistan-Austria relations.
