King Salman on Tuesday chaired a session of the Saudi cabinet in Riyadh reaffirming the Kingdom's strong stance against Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip.
The Council of Ministers stressed the necessity of an immediate ceasefire and for the prevention of the displacement of the population of Gaza.
The cabinet called for the return to efforts to achieve lasting and sustainable peace.
The cabinet also reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts in preserving the environment and reducing climate change.
RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received on Thursday a written message from Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq concerning relations between their countries.
The message was received on behalf of the crown prince by Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khereiji during a meeting in Riyadh with Oman’s ambassador to the Kingdom Sayyid Najib bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Busaidi, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Saudi-Omani relations and ways to enhance them in various fields were reviewed during the meeting. Topics of common interest were also discussed.
