RIYADH: Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji met his Indonesian counterpart Pahala Nugraha Mansury in Jakarta on Wednesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The two sides reviewed ways to strengthen bilateral ties and discussed issues of mutual interest.

DUBAI: Bahrain says the headquarters of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet has been targeted by a missile attack.
“The siren has been sounded due to a hazard,” said an interior ministry alert sent to residents’ mobile phones.
AFP correspondents in Manama also reported hearing the siren.
Emergency sirens meanwhile were heard near US base in Qatar, AFP correspondents reported.
