Turkish girl, 2, takes Makkah pilgrimage

ISTANBUL: Two-year-old Marai Jikjin has become Turkiye’s youngest person to travel to Saudi Arabia under the Makkah Route initiative.
The youngster flew with her parents from Istanbul Airport and later toured the city’s holy sites alongside other pilgrims.
The scheme has been designed to streamline airport documentation procedures for worshippers.
