Saudi Arts Commission to host exhibition in Diriyah

  • The exhibition will highlight the importance of environmental sustainability and create awareness about protecting forests from fires through modern methods

RIYADH: The Visual Arts Commission has organized the second “Find Me Through the Fog” exhibition between Sept. 1 and 3 in Diriyah’s JAX neighborhood, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

The exhibition will highlight the importance of environmental sustainability and create awareness about protecting forests from fires through modern methods.

It will feature 10 Saudi artists who will present work inspired by the environment of the Asir region and the fog that fanned forest fires at the national park in Abha last year.

It will also include an area for children with artwork to spread awareness about the importance of preserving the environment.

The first exhibition was organized last year in Abha’s Al-Muftaha village as part of the commission’s efforts to enrich the local art scene and generate opportunities to support local talent in visual arts.
