RIYADH: Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh on Monday received the Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidiqov — and his accompanying delegation — on the sidelines of the politician’s visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Al-Asheikh highlighted the historic links between the two countries and expressed hopes of further strengthening the bonds, especially cooperation between the Shoura Council and Uzbek parliament.
RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a written message from Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye concerning relations between their countries on Tuesday, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The message was received by Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khereiji during a meeting with Senegal’s ambassador to the Kingdom, Birame Mbagnick Diagne, in Riyadh.
During the meeting, Saudi-Senegalese relations and ways to enhance them in various fields were discussed. Issues of common interest were also reviewed.
