CAIRO, 1 June — Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received here yesterday Asir Governor Prince Khaled Al-Faisal. The meeting was attended by Prince Bandr ibn Khaled Al-Faisal and Prince Sultan ibn Khaled Al-Faisal. Prince Khaled conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd to President Mubarak and briefed him on the plan to found an establishment for the Arab thought, due to be established in the next few days.The prince said the president welcomed the idea and expressed readiness to extend all possible support to it. The prince also visited the American University in Cairo. He was breifed on the activities of the university. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, the prince underlined the importance of benifeting from the experience of the American University to universities in the Kingdom. He pointed out in particular King Khaled University and the King Faisal Foundation, as well as the Foundation of Arab thought.The prince was accompanied by Kingdom’s Ambassador to Egypt Ibrahim Al-Brahim.
