Queen Elizabeth II tests positive for COVID; mild symptoms

LONDON: Buckingham Palace says Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms.
The palace said Sunday that the 95-year-old British monarch will continue with light duties.
The queen has received three jabs of coronavirus vaccine.
Both her eldest son Prince Charles and daughter-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have also recently contracted COVID-19.

Unmanned drone hit runway on UK Cyprus base: British FM

LONDON: British Foreign Minister Yvette Cooper on Monday said an unmanned drone that struck a UK military base on Cyprus hit the runaway.
“This is an unmanned drone strike specifically on the airport runway... we’re not able to provide further information and detail at this point, but obviously all of the precautionary measures are being taken around the base,” Cooper told Sky News.
