Saudi, Bahraini foreign ministers discuss US-Iran negotiation process

RIYADH: The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain discussed the US-Iran negotiation process and the efforts of both countries to support security and stability.

The next meeting between Iran and US negotiators will take place after July 9 funeral processions for Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani also emphasized the importance of ensuring freedom of maritime navigation in the Arabian Gulf and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest during a meeting in Riyadh on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
