Saudi embassy in Morocco pays tribute to Rayan

The Saudi Embassy in Morocco mourned the death of Rayan on Sunday, who died of his injuries after falling into a well 5 days ago.

The embassy offered condolences and sympathy to the family of Rayan, the Moroccan leadership and the Moroccan people on the death of the child.

The embassy also praised efforts made by the Moroccan authorities in order to save the five-year-old.

Egypt and Sudan, meanwhile, also offered their condolences to Morocco and praised the country’s tireless efforts in attempts to save the Moroccan boy.

The Moroccan Royal Court announced the death of Rayan after strenuous efforts in which rescue teams tried to get him out of the well.

Saudi crown prince joins Kuwaiti counterpart in condemning Iranian attacks on GCC states

RIYADH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his Kuwait counterpart Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah have condemned Iran’s attacks on the GCC countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

In a telephone call on Thursday, they said the attacks violate their countries’ sovereignty, security and safety, with similar repercussions for the region and world.

After the US and Israel launched an assault on Iran on Saturday, Tehran responded by attacking several countries.
