Army chief thanks Saudi Arabia’s leadership for supporting security and stability of Sudan

  • Al-Burhan expressed his appreciation during a telephone call with Saudi minister of state for African affairs

RIYADH: The head of Sudan’s army thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their efforts to support security and stability in the country.

General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan expressed his appreciation during a telephone call with the Saudi Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed Abdul Aziz Kattan, Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

The two officials also discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them, in addition to the latest regional and international issues of common interest.

Saudi Minister Al-Jubeir attends Guyana Energy Conference, meets President Ali

RIYADH: Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs, member of the Council of Ministers, and envoy for climate, is participating in the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo at Georgetown, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on X. 

Al-Jubeir has also met Guyana’s President Mohamed Irfaan Ali. The parties focused on bilateral relations and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Jubeir recently met Arnoldo Andre Tinoco, Costa Rica’s minister of foreign affairs and worship, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
