DHAKA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Muslim World League, distributed baskets containing more than 192 tons of food to Rohingya refugees in Okhia camp in the Bangladeshi region of Cox’s Bazar, benefiting 9,000 people.
This move comes within the framework of a comprehensive campaign by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to provide food aid to Rohingya refugees and poor families in Bangladesh.
As part of its project to provide and distribute shelter materials in Lebanon, KSrelief distributed 1,577 winter bags and 3,154 large blankets to Syrian and Palestinian refugees, as well as Lebanese families in need in various governorates. This initiative benefited 1,577 families or 7,885 individuals.
In Yemen, KSrelief distributed more than 562 tons of foodstuffs for those in need in Hijjah governorate, benefiting 9,627 people.

Jeddah governor attends ceremony marking Kuwait National Day

JEDDAH: Jeddah Gov. Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi attended a ceremony in Jeddah on Sunday to mark Kuwait’s National Day.
Prince Saud was received by Kuwait’s Consul General Yousef Abdullah Al-Tunaib and other consulate officials, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Fareed bin Saad Al-Shehri, director-general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Makkah, and members of the diplomatic corps, were also in attendance.
