MOSCOW: Russia reported a record high of 442 deaths related to the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, taking the official death toll to 33,931.
Authorities also reported 22,410 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, including 5,882 in the capital Moscow, bringing the national tally to 1,971,013.

MILAN: One person was killed and at least 20 were injured on Friday when a tram derailed in central Milan, according to a Reuters witness.

Five ambulances were at the scene, while civil protection teams set up a tent to assist the injured.
The local transport company ATM had no immediate comment.
