Paris Hilton speak up about childhood trauma in YouTube doc

DUBAI: Former reality TV star Paris Hilton revealed in a new YouTube documentary, entitled “This is Paris,” that she had a traumatic childhood experience.

The actress, singer, model and DJ said in the trailer released this week: “Something happened in my childhood that I’ve never talked with anyone.”

“But I couldn’t tell you guys because every time I tried, I would get punished by them,” she added speaking to her mother, Kathy Hilton, and sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, who appeared in various scenes in the teaser.

“I still have nightmares about it and the only thing that saved my sanity was thinking about who I wanted to become when I got out of there,” she continued.

The beauty mogul, who founded a namesake brand that sells perfume, shoes, apparel, sunglasses, handbags and cosmetics, is expected to reveal all the details about her traumatic experience when “This is Paris” debuts on Sept. 14.
