It is one of the most important archaeological sites in AlUla consisting of several stone buildings, a circular stone basin known locally as Mahlab Al-Naqa, and numerous carved tombs, the most famous of which are the Lion Tombs.
Prince William arrives in AlUla on next step of Saudi Arabia tour
ALULA: Britain’s Prince William arrived on Tuesday in Al-Ula on the next stop of his official visit to Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
He was welcomed at Al-Ula International Airport by Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region.
The welcome party also included Major General Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Zahrani, director of the regional police, Ibrahim bin Abdullah Barri, director of the Royal Protocol Office, as well as other senior officials.
