DUBAI: US actress Annie Ilonzeh wore a futuristic gown by Lebanese designer Rami Kadi to the premiere of new Hollywood flick “Peppermint” in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Due for US release on Sept. 7, the film stars Jennifer Garner who portrays a woman who becomes a vigilante after her husband and daughter are killed in a drive-by shooting by members of a cartel. Meanwhile, Ilonzeh plays an FBI agent.
Ilonzeh wore a fitted gown to the premiere, complete with a black bodice with a gaping peekaboo cutout and a multi-colored skirt made up of strips of metallic material.
From 2010 to 2011, the actress starred on the ABC daytime soap opera “General Hospital” and then went on to play a role in the short-lived ABC reboot of “Charlie’s Angels.”
In the new film, Ilonzeh stars alongside Garner, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday to honor a glittering career that has included roles in acclaimed movies from “Juno” to “Dallas Buyers Club.”

“Today for me is a moment to mark 24 years really joyfully lived, in a job that I love so much. And to get to share with my family and friends is pretty amazing and special,” the 46-year-old star told AFP. Actors Steve Carell and Bryan Cranston — who starred with Garner respectively in the 2014 comedy “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” and 2016’s “Wakefield” — paid glowing tribute.
Also on hand to celebrate was Judy Greer, who appeared alongside Garner in 2004 fantasy comedy-romance “13 Going on 30” and 2014 comedy-drama “Men, Women and Children” before directing her in the 2017 comedy, “A Happening of Monumental Proportions.” In 2001, Garner got the role that catapulted her onto the A-list, as CIA agent Sydney Bristow in ABC series “Alias,” which ran for five seasons. Garner received Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards for the part, as well as four outstanding lead actress nominations at the Emmys, AFP reported.
For her part, Ilonzeh posted a series of photographs in which she is posing with Garner and captioned the post “Enjoyed working with you all! Can’t wait to do it again.” The actress even paid homage to Garner, hashtagging a photo of the Hollywood star with the word “idol.”

The look was completed with a matching gold heart necklace resting softly at the neckline, coordinating ring, and gold watch, all echoing the same heart design that defines the collection.

In another post, she wore a black halter-neck top, accessorized with rose-gold rings and a stacked bracelet set from the same collection, featuring heart-shaped motifs.

The model’s collaboration with Chopard began in 2017 when she became one of the faces of the brand’s high jewelry collections.

Since then, she has appeared in several campaigns and worn Chopard pieces at major international events, including the Cannes Film Festival, Met Gala, and Paris Fashion Week.

In August, Hadid starred in the latest campaign spotlighting Chopard’s L’Heure du Diamant collection. The brand shared a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, showing her in a white halter-neck dress as she posed in the sparkling jewelry pieces.

Hadid marked the start of the new year by sharing a carousel of images this week, offering a glimpse into how she celebrated the occasion. She rang in the New Year in Aspen.

She spent the final moments of 2025 wearing a look by Lebanese designer Georges Chakra.

The sheer-black lace dress was intricately embroidered with black crystals, featuring sculpted lace appliques framing the neckline and bodice, with satin bands finishing the hem.

Hadid and her friends appeared to celebrate in a mountain lodge, where the group gathered around a wooden fire pit to stay warm, enjoyed a fine dining experience, and continued the celebrations into the night.
