Pakistan Saudi interior ministers discuss ways to enhance cooperation

Pakistan’s Minister of Interior Ahsan Iqbal met Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef in Jeddah on Sunday.
Both ministers discussed ways of coordinating the bilateral cooperation between the two ministries.
Issues pertaining to the Pak community also came under discussion.
“Both sides discussed bilateral issues, particularly cooperation in the field of security and immigration,” Iqbal said on his Twitter account.
Iqbal and his Saudi counterpart agreed to promote greater economic cooperation for further strengthening bonds between the two brotherly countries.
Both sides agreed to sign a transfer of prisoners agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which will allow the transfer of Pakistani prisoners to Pakistani jails from Saudi jails.
