Times Now: Pakistani PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was frisked at US airport – American official explains why

March 29: Times Now states that a US Embassy official in India has tried to reason why the Pakistani PM was made to go through embarrassing security check. “My understanding is that if the head of a state chooses to travel privately without diplomatic passport, then they are travelling as a private citizen, then he would have to go through the same security screening that you and I will have to go,” Alexander McLaren, deputy spokesperson, US Embassy in India, said.
