RIYADH: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi minister of foreign affairs, held separate meetings on Saturday with UN and and US officials, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Prince Faisal met Nikolay Mladenov, high representative of the UN special coordinating committee on the Middle East peace process, with talks focusing on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and efforts to address the situation.
In a separate meeting, the foreign minister met Yehuda Kaplan, US special envoy for combating antisemitism.
The discussions reviewed efforts to promote the values of dialogue and tolerance, combat extremism, and underscored the importance of fostering understanding and peaceful coexistence.
Both meetings were also attended by Prince Faisal’s adviser, Mohammed Al-Yahya, and Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Manal Radwan.
