CAIRO: Social media users in Egypt were delighted to see Will Smith share a portrait of himself that was made by a little-known young Egyptian artist.
The black-and-white charcoal portrait of Will Smith’s face by Shrok Yahya garnered over a million likes on the actor’s official Insta account.
The American actor shared a series of detailed pictures of the young woman’s artwork, and captioned it with: “WOW! @shrok_yahya_art! This is a beautiful illustration of the Fruits of Dedication & Self-Discipline. Thank You.”
Many fans wrote comments praising the Yahya’s talent, with others saying they were “proud” that the artist is an Egyptian national.
