RIYADH: Four ministries are implementing the government’s job-Saudization program in various regions of the Kingdom.
They comprise the ministries of interior, labor and social development, municipal and rural affairs, and trade and investment, with the participation of the General Directorate of Passports. The ministries agreed to follow up on implementation via field committees.
The program intends to focus on each region’s potential, and implement decisions to ensure empowerment of youth and women.
It also intends to create a decent and stable work environment, and develop incentives to encourage the business sector to Saudize jobs.
The ministries will seek appropriate mechanisms to develop workers’ knowledge and skills. The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) has signed agreements with tourism facilities to support the Saudization of jobs.
