RIYADH: The Saudi Cultural Mission in London has launched campaigns to market features of “Saudi Vision 2030,” the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The event is being organized by Saudi scholarship students at British universities so as to acquaint the British people with the objectives and themes of the vision.
The event will reflect visions and ambitions of Saudi scholarship students through panel discussions and showcase successful Saudi examples in scientific research and entrepreneurships in five key British cities.
The event is a demonstration of thoughts that will explore prospects of Vision 2030, and brief the British community on its key features, the Saudi Cultural Mission said.
The cultural mission also said in a statement that the event is also meant to link Saudi scholarship students with the vision, integrate them into its features, foster patriotism among the students, and enhance their sense of responsibility in this national project.
Faris Al-Malki, a Ph.D student in telecom engineering and satellites, and coordinator of the forum, said Vision 2030 is an ambitious national project that explores prospects of the Kingdom’s future.
Khalid Al-Jarallah, a member of the media committee of the initiative, said the first phase of the forum would be launched in the current month.
The event comes to reflect the social responsibility among scholarship students to explore features of the vision among British community members, and to express their pride over the past and a future, he said.
Israa Hakim, head of the Saudi Student Union at Birmingham University, said Saudi Vision 2030 comes as an extension to the cultural and scientific movement undertaken by the Saudi scholarship students in the United Kingdom. The cultural mission supports it.

Digital Umrah guide enhances pilgrim experience
JEDDAH: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has released the “Umrah and Ziyarah Guide” in 16 languages to provide pilgrims with guidance and regulatory information in their native languages.
The initiative aims to raise awareness and help pilgrims perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind, the Saudi Press Agency reported recently.
The guide serves as an interactive reference covering all stages of the Umrah and visitation journey — from pre-travel preparations and visa procedures to performing rituals, navigating the Two Holy Mosques, and completing departure formalities.
Organized chronologically, it allows pilgrims to quickly access stage-specific information and is enhanced with visuals and digital links to maps, instructional videos, and supporting services.
Topics include ihram, tawaf, and sa’i, etiquette within the Two Holy Mosques, and key services at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, along with organizational and behavioral guidelines to ensure smooth operations.
The ministry said the guide’s launch is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the pilgrim experience, strengthen procedural awareness, and support digital transformation, ultimately improving service quality and facilitating the journey. It is available at haj.gov.sa/Guides.
