MOSCOW: Kazakhstan exported its ​first gasoline cargo to Russia in July, supplying about 1,000 ‌metric tons ‌to ​one ‌of ⁠the ​regions in ⁠Central Russia, industry sources said.

Russia is facing gasoline ⁠shortages after ‌increased Ukrainian ‌drone ​attacks ‌on oil ‌refineries across the country, prompting Russian authorities ‌to seek additional fuel supplies from ⁠Kazakhstan ⁠and Belarus and to start importing gasoline by sea from India.
