KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar ​Ibrahim said on Wednesday the government would immediately implement several comprehensive ‌early intervention measures ‌to ​ensure ‌economic ⁠resilience ​amid global ⁠challenges.

Efforts were being mobilized to ensure energy security, including ⁠diversifying sources and ‌using ‌alternative ​routes ‌to the Strait ‌of Hormuz, Anwar said in a Facebook ‌post after a meeting of the ⁠country’s ⁠economic action council.

He did not specify what measures were being introduced.
