ZURICH: Hackers who last week accessed data from a Liechtenstein register of companies, foundations and trusts did ‌not ‌obtain financial ‌information, the principality’s government said on Tuesday.

The hacked register of beneficial owners did not contain data on ‌assets, ‌revenues and ‌dividends of ‌the affected parties, Prime Minister Brigitte Haas told ‌a press conference.

Investigators did not know who was behind the hack but were working hard to find out, Haas said.
