PARIS:The Group ​of Seven countries and the Gulf Cooperation ‌Council ‌countries ​will ‌hold ⁠a ​meeting next week ⁠to discuss the situation in ⁠the ‌Strait of ‌Hormuz, France’s ​Foreign ‌Ministry ‌spokesperson Pascal Confavreux said ‌at a news conference on ⁠Thursday.

France currently ⁠holds the rotating presidency of the G7.
