Syrian designer Rami Al-Ali’s ninth ready-to-wear collection is now available in select stores in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and France. Featuring 26 looks, the offering is a striking homage to the glamour of the 1980s. Read on for some of the standout looks from the Dubai-based label’s Fall 2020 collection.
If the designer’s Fall 2020 offering is any indication, the power suit is still just as bold as it was in the ’80s. Al-Ali put his own chic spin on the look, reimagining it in a bold lime green colorway.
The collection is punctuated with exaggerated, angular shoulders inspired by the bygone era.
Color-blocked tassels in vibrant shades of raspberry, lime and turquoise are a playful addition to this daring evening gown.
The collection is dripping in all-out glamour thanks to the incorporation of detailed beadwork and sequins on luxe fabrics such as silk organza, crepe and satin mikado.
