6 Arab designers taking part in Arab Fashion Week
Arab Fashion Week is back and will take place virtually from Oct. 21-24, with a number of designers set to showcase their latest collections.

Egyptian designer Abeer Al-Otaiba’s fashion label SemSem has been spotted on Hollywood’s who’s who, including Blake Lively, Taylor Swift and Kourtney Kardashian.

Beirut-based designer Aboud Jammal’s new collection is inspired by luxury, sophistication and “hallucinatory vision,” according to show notes.

Besides being one of the region’s most celebrated creatives, the Iraqi designer has also dressed A-list celebrities including Eva Longoria, Kris Jenner, Demi Lovato and more.

The brand was founded by Lebanese and Brazilian design duo Ahmad Ammar and Vincenzo Visciglia. The ready-to-wear label has been on the market since 2011, continuously creating stylish and avant-garde silhouettes.

Farah Bseiso, the founder of the ready-to-wear label, was born in London and raised between Baghdad, Iraq and Jordan. She draws inspiration from her travels and immersion in other cultures.

The Lebanese designer will showcase his new 2021 couture collection titled “Power of the Unseen.”
