ROME: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani in Rome on Thursday.
The two parties held talks focusing on strengthening Saudi-Italian relations across various fields. They also emphasized the importance of continued coordination on regional and international issues, and supporting peaceful solutions and efforts to end conflicts, including in Gaza.
They stressed the importance of taking all steps and measures to deliver relief and humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip in full cooperation with international parties.
The two sides praised the developing economic relations between the countries, with trade volume reaching more than $12 billion in 2024, and looked forward to further progress in economic cooperation.
