KARACHI: Two commercial vessels collided at the South Asia Port Terminal (SAPT) in Karachi on Monday afternoon bringing a halt to traffic at the terminal.

According to the reports, Hapag-Lloyd's Tolton collided with Hamburg Bay of LNL Shipping Line. 

Shariq Amin Farooqui, a spokesman of Karachi Port Trust (KPT), informed about the traffic incident that occurred at SAPT, which is privately operated for commercial vessels. “The incident hasn’t affected traffic at Karachi Port Trust, where all vessels are going to be anchored, loaded or off-loaded as per schedule,” Farooqi told Arab News.
