QATIF: A group of masked men have shot man in his 30s along with his son after they persuaded them to follow the men from their house in Qatif to Al-Awamiyah.
Eastern Province spokesman Col Ziad Al-Raqqati said the Qatif Police received a report of the incident at 11 p.m. on Friday from the Qatif Central Hospital about a man who was injured after being shot in the feet by a number of people while he was with his son in Al-Awamiyah. He is still receiving treatment but his condition is stable.
Al-Raqqati said the police are still investigating the incident. One of the relatives of the man who was shot said the victim had received a phone call at his house and was lured to Al-Awamiyah. The relatives quickly reported it to the police after they found out what happened.

Saudi defense minister meets with Pakistan’s army chief
RIYADH: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir in Riyadh on Thursday.
The two officials discussed joint efforts to “promote global peace and security in a manner that serves our shared interests,” Prince Khalid wrote on X.
Prince Khalid and Munir also reaffirmed Saudi-Pakistani relations and the strategic defense partnership between the two countries.
